What we support today, where we know we fall short, and how to tell us about a problem.
Our commitment
NetraClouds Inc is committed to making netraclouds.com usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, or who need reduced motion. We treat accessibility as part of building the site properly rather than as an add-on.
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That target covers the Canadian requirements that apply to us:
- AODA, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation require web content to meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA. WCAG 2.1 AA includes everything in 2.0 AA, so meeting our target satisfies this.
- Accessible Canada Act, the federal standard CAN/ASC-EN 301 549 adopts WCAG 2.1 Level AA for web content. We follow it so that federally regulated and public-sector clients can procure from us without an accessibility exception.
- Quebec, for work with Quebec public bodies we align with the province’s web accessibility standards, which are also built on WCAG.
AODA also asks organizations to provide an accessible way to give feedback. Ours is set out at the bottom of this page, and we will supply information from this site in an alternative format on request.
What the site supports
- Keyboard navigation. Every page starts with a “Skip to content” link, and interactive elements show a clear focus outline as you tab through them.
- Screen readers. Pages use real headings, landmarks and lists, images carry alternative text, and the navigation is standard HTML rather than a scripted substitute.
- Reduced motion. If your device asks for reduced motion, the rotating banner, scrolling partner logos and testimonial slider stop automatically.
- Zoom and resizing. Text and layout scale with the browser, and pages reflow down to small screens without horizontal scrolling.
- Contrast. Body text and interface elements are chosen to meet AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
Known limitations
We would rather tell you where the site still falls short than claim it is perfect:
- Some older blog posts contain images whose alternative text is brief and could describe the content better.
- Embedded third-party content, including videos hosted on YouTube and our booking calendar, is controlled by those providers and may not fully match the rest of the site.
- A small number of legacy PDF documents have not yet been remediated for screen-reader use.
These are on our list, and we review them as part of ongoing site maintenance.
